Google Drive

Connect Google Drive so the documents, sheets, and slides your team works in become part of Falconer’s knowledge.

Files from your Google Drive, respecting Drive’s sharing and access permissions. Every Google Drive connection is organization-level: any file Falconer indexes becomes searchable and answerable for everyone in your Falconer organization, including files you connect with your own Google account.

  • Search documents, sheets, and slides in Drive.
  • Ask Falcon about the contents of any file.
  • Keep Drive files indexed and up to date.

Google Drive offers three ways to connect:

  1. Google account connection – Authorize an individual Google account. Falconer indexes the Drive files that account can access and adds them to your organization’s knowledge.
  2. Workspace connection — A Google Workspace admin connects the entire organization. This provides broader access but requires additional configuration in Google Cloud Console. See Google Workspace.
  3. Google Drive Service Account (targeted access) – Share specific files or folders with your organization’s Falconer service account email. Use this when you want granular control over which files Falconer indexes instead of giving it access to everything. The service account belongs to your organization, so shared files are searchable by everyone in it.
  1. Navigate to Integrations from the bottom-left menu.
  2. Click Connect next to Google Drive and choose your connection method.
  3. Follow the authorization steps, or for the targeted connection, use Instructions to view step-by-step setup.
